A 1995 Dom Perignon is a vintage (is not made every year) and the Cuvée Prestige wood work (best champagne of the house: Moët & Chandon). wood work The grapes used for this champagne are those of the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The color is golden yellow, beautiful bubbles, very small and subtle. Then the smell: full and convincing, grand and full of straw, almonds, honey: a sizzling summer evening in the glass. The taste is just as full as the smell: not thin sauvignon blanc with soda, not a full mouth fragrant bubbles. Everything is beautifully balanced, not too much or too little bubbles, not too tight and not too dry packed around.
