A 1995 Dom Perignon is a vintage (is not made every year) and the Cuvée Prestige wood work (best champagne of the house: Moët & Chandon). wood work The grapes used for this champagne are those of the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The color is golden yellow, beautiful bubbles, very small and subtle. Then the smell: full and convincing, grand and full of straw, almonds, honey: a sizzling summer evening in the glass. The taste is just as full as the smell: not thin sauvignon blanc with soda, not a full mouth fragrant bubbles. Everything is beautifully balanced, not too much or too little bubbles, not too tight and not too dry packed around. Reviews wood work from people who already drank it in 2003 was the fact that he was still too young and gave him a maturing period of 2 to 5 years. Well about 15 years under the cork these Dom made a beautiful powerful thoroughbred champagne.
