Ruth Prawer Jhbvala is a writer of German Jewish roots. The family is of Nazism fled to England, where he trained and Ruth began to write novels and short stories. Married to an Indian architect and long-lived in New Delhi, where he fully embraced the local life. However, the novels were not the ones who earned her reputation. The world has experienced fame by writing scripts for films, which also received mediterranean kitchen two Oscars. My attention was attracted by the fact that she wrote a script for a movie room with a view. A great movie and a great book. But its also scenarios for a successful and acclaimed films such as Howard, Remains of the Day, and others. The lady at the beginning of April died, aged 85 years. She has written many novels and short zgodbe.V Slovenian we have it, in 1975, the Booker award-winning book The heat and dust, in English, Heat and Dust. However, when reading this book - at least for me, turned mediterranean kitchen out to Mrs. scenarios writes better than novels. I is easy to imagine how to film the scene where an actress of our time walking around the cemetery and watch the almost completely demolished monument mediterranean kitchen in the form of an angel, followed one after the other player about 50 years ago walking in the same cemetery, the stone angel's all white and beautiful, clean, Nov. The book is written in such a way that the action is happening at more or less the same venues (India), with two Englishwoman (the first wife of British officer, the other is more or less a kind of adventurer), which are quite similar; scene in 1923 it is shared with the venue last quarter of the 20th century. The story is quite romantic as a lady from 1923 leaving her boring husband and escapes with an Indian prince; lady in modern times as well as experienced romantic love with the owner. All well and good, and interest in disturbing, but what I missed was the lack of any passion or express emotions almost to be present at such events :-) Or, the English (and Englishwoman!) Really so cold as you sometimes present. Also possible. The story is therefore quite right, but people are unfinished mediterranean kitchen - especially those of us nearer the time. The novel is published in Slovenian in the collection for a good night. Quite appropriate :-) Ruth Prawer Jhbvala, 1927 - 2013
