"The Road to Woodbury" Title: "The Walking Dead. Road to Woodbury "by Robert Kirkman, Jay Bonansinga Publisher: Sine Qua Non 320 pages Release kitchen cabinets wholesale date: 2013 ISBN: 978-83-63248-76-5 Rating: 8/10 Date read: September 13, 2013
Robert Kirkman known comic book artist with a great thriller writer Jay Bonansinga decided to provide fans of comic book "The Walking Dead" something more. Has combined their forces posted a series of great books for lovers of the Living Dead. So far published two books - "The Birth of the Governor" and "The Road to Woodbury." Based on the comic book appeared in serial with the same name, aired on FOX, two board games (one on the basis of this particular series), the line of action figures and video game. You see, after all the love we have for zombies.
In the previous section could meet a self-proclaimed Governor having no scruples, could see what the battle against zombies, how to beat them quickly. In the second part of the master plan for the town of Woodbury extends to a refuge and a safe haven for people seeking refuge from the zombies. But nothing is for free, even in times of crisis, protection, nourishment and help you need to gain work. Physical work, because the money does not have great value.
The main character of the second part of "The Walking Dead" is Lilly Caul, which, like many other people, living in one of the makeshift settlements. Unfortunately, this spectral idyll is interrupted by a zombie attack which killed a girl that Lilly had to take care of. As a result of this situation, Lilly, along with a group of friends left the place where it is not welcome, setting off a frightening and dangerous way to another city - Woodbury, which appears to them like Eden. Enclosed walled town under the rule of self-appointed Governor ensures peace of mind and protection against a horde of bloodthirsty zombies. But try to lean ... and again you find yourself in great danger.
I have to admit that the creation of the protagonist, who is terrified of the whole situation and the end is not able to deal with your feelings, did not raise me from the beginning of sympathy. In time, however, gained kitchen cabinets wholesale in my eyes. In the book, Kirkman and Bonansinga are also important relationships which, in the face of tragedy often do not szlachetnieją, on the contrary - the light onto the negative and dark side of human personality. Bloodbath lovers will be able to safely enjoy your imagination numerous descriptions of chilling encounters with zombies. It will be blood, guts they will all other possible guts and limbs flying in the air.
I think the second part still keeps a good level, and not at all weaker than the first part. The book reads really fast, the story draws from the first opening your pages more and more with each another. The creation of living protagonists can evoke different feelings, but when it comes to creative zombie ... feelings are rather extremely negative and raise only fear. In this novel, there will be a high-speed twists and turns of events bordering on the absurd reality. "The Walking Dead" is a book for people with exquisite taste readership.
"The Walking Dead. Road to Woodbury "is not as ambitious novel in literature, but the book addressed to lovers of the Dead, who will be devoured each page waiting for a read more ... zombies. Lovers of comics, books, TV series, games invite you today to Woodbury!
